Good Start to the Day

Meditation: 
Bringing centredness and alignment within your body and connecting to you heart space before you face the world is a great way to start your day.  This is a great visual meditation to do as part of your morning ritual.
Sit up with a straight back and take your focus onto your breath. Feel how the breath moves through your body. Do a mental body scan starting at the crown of your head, sending the breath to each area with love. Allow your body to soften, expand and open. Take your focus to the crown of your head and invite universal white light energy from above to flow through you. Take your focus to your sit bones and invite grounding energy from below to flow through you. Allow these 2 energies to meet in your heart centre and feel into the energy of LOVE as the 2 energies merge..  Then expand this energy into your aura and out further into the universe, feeling the connection with self and all. Bring yourself back into your body and set your intention for the day, to be LOVE. 
Hot lemon water:
Make this the first thing your body consumes each morning. There are so many amazing health benefits in doing this. 
-Boost your immune system
-Flushes out toxins within the body
-Reduces joint & muscle pain
-Promotes digestion
- Anti-inflammatory and anti -bacterial properties 
Intermittent fasting:
Allow 14 - 16 hours between your last meal in the evening and your first meal in the day. This gives your body the time it needs to digest and restore efficiently. 
Healthy Breakfast Options:
Homemade Cereal:
Breakfast cereals are often full of preservatives and sugars. Making your own is so easy. 

What you need:
Large container
Oats
Sunflower seeds
Pumpkin seeds
Chia seeds
Organic rice puffs
Saltanas
Flaked coconut
Nuts

Place the amounts you desire of each into a large container and mix. 

If you would like a crunchier granola type cereal then cover it in coconut oil and toast in the oven. Keep mixing until golden. 

Veggies:
Get your veggie intake in early in the day

What you need: 
Onion, Capsicum, Mushroom, Spinach, Cherry tomatoes
Saute veg in some coconut oil, salt and pepper
Add turmeric, chilli and nutritional yeast for extra flavour

Add egg or silken tofu if you wish

Serve with 1/2 an avocado

Yummy Oats Porridge
Make your regular oats then add some extra yumminess.

Grated carrot & apple
